I turn to this wonderful moisturiser when my combination skin goes awol; breaking out in spots that don't want to go away and my sebum glands going into overdrive. The calendula speeds healing and acts as an anti inflammatory to calm skin and because it is oil free it hydrates and plumps skin without blocking pores

There are some herbs that seem to soothe all ills. Calendula, rich in flavonoids and Vitamin A, is nature's great healer. It is used extensively in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry for its abilities in cell regeneration and wound healing, whilst herbalists use it as an anti-inflammatory.
This gel is a wonderful moisturiser, hydrating all skin types leaving skin smooth, soft and rejuvenated. It is also a must have home first aid remedy; apply to burns, slow healing wounds, grazes, nappy rash or bites & stings.
It decreases swelling, clears infection, speeds tissue regeneration, and prevents scarring. It can even heal old scar tissue! According to the legendary herbalist Culpepper, calendula could be used to 'expel any malignant or pestilent quality which might annoy them'. We couldn't have said it better!
Unlike oil based creams, gels can be used on all skin types, are easily absorbed into the skin and do not block pores in oily or combination skin types.
The 100% natural gel contains a high concentration calendula extract for maximum effectiveness combined with soothing aloe vera & honey. Use within 3 months of opening. Not recommended for use in pregnancy.
To use
Apply to problem skin 2 - 3 times a day.

So many uses!

This is a really wonderful moisturiser to use over oily skin or on T-zone for combination skin. It is a very good aftersun and my husband uses it after shaving. Also great on stings.
It is not enough - on its own - for dry skin.

My skin has patterns of its own. I'm prone to clogging up with 'normal' creams. This gel is light to use and have made a difference to the complexion and smoothness of my skin. A little goes along way and it very light under make up

I love this gel, the blue bottle, the cooling effect, everything! I use it after toning with rosewater every couple of mornings. With very greasy skin I find that every day usage is just too much and I'm greasy after a couple of hours. You only need a teeny dab which is great because it lasts ages. My skin has calmed down, and I can see that under my acne the scars are healing.

I have hormonal acne and tried this after reading Lula's comments. I'm only using the gel at night and the feel of it takes some getting used to but so far it is so helping my spots to dry up and heal, so I'm really pleased with it!
